Cloud Hidden Tea Server
The Server level is the recognised stage of active service in connection with Cloud Hidden. It is held by those who have completed the Apprenticeship and continue to serve tea in active relationship with Cloud Hidden over time.
Server is not automatic on completing the Apprenticeship. It is a path you apply to enter, and one that asks for ongoing commitment and a deeper relational connection over time. It begins with a conversation and requires confirmation.

What this is, and is not
This is not a comment on other ways people continue with tea. Many graduates of the Apprenticeship go on to serve tea in their own way, in their own contexts. That is welcome.
The Server level is a particular thing within Cloud Hidden: a specific path with its own standards, rhythm, and continued mentorship. Anyone who begins teaching publicly under their own name, or moves outside the standards Cloud Hidden holds, is no longer on the Server path. That is a clarity about what Server is, not a judgement of other choices.
Four shapes,
one relationship.
- Serving at Cloud Hidden Byron Bay, as ongoing staff, assistant, or in scheduled rotations
- Serving alongside Samuel at gatherings, retreats, or travel
- Serving at an accredited Cloud Hidden space, where these exist in the future
- Serving in their own practice while maintaining active affiliation with Cloud Hidden through ongoing check-ins, attendance at gatherings, and continued mentorship
What matters is that the relationship with Cloud Hidden and the wider practice remains active.
A conversation, first.
After completing the Apprenticeship, email space@cloudhidden.com.au to express your interest. Samuel will discuss the path with you and confirm whether this is the right next step.
Held over time.
Server is a living status, not a static credential. It is held for as long as the active relationship continues. Server is its own complete state, and many practitioners may remain at this level indefinitely.
Teacher,
by invitation.
Server may lead to Teacher Training by invitation, when skill, experience, and readiness align. There is no fixed timeline. Some Servers may be invited after a number of years. Some continue as Servers indefinitely, and that itself is the path.
