An hour. Scheduled at sixty minutes, typically running between fifty and fifty-eight minutes depending on the ceremony.

Doors open at the scheduled ceremony time and lock two to three minutes after. If you arrive late, please don't knock. Skip this ceremony and rebook for another time. The silence is part of the practice for everyone in the room.

Phones, bags, water bottles, journals, notebooks, and pens. All personal items stay outside the ceremony space.

Tea, in silence. No movement practices, no breathing exercises, no journaling. Just stillness and tea.

You're welcome. Our teas contain caffeine. You can manage your intake by skipping the first bowl or two, where most of the caffeine steeps out, and drinking more freely from the third bowl onwards. By the third bowl, around 85% of the caffeine has steeped out. Use your own judgement about what feels right for you.

Yes. The caffeine is strongest in the first bowls. Skip the first bowl, or take a small sip. Have a sip or two of the second. Drink more freely from the third, fourth, and fifth. The later steepings are much lighter.

We don't offer caffeine-free tea. The approach above lets most people sit comfortably regardless of sensitivity.

Sitting in silence for an hour is asked of everyone in the room. The youngest person we've had attend was around eight. It is at your discretion, but please consider whether your child will be comfortable in the silence and able to stay through the hour.

Floor seating at low tables, and bench seating at around 400mm. Floor access is needed to reach the tables. If you have mobility concerns, please get in touch beforehand and we will work out what suits you.

Yes. When you book through our website, choose the "Book for someone else" option and enter their details.

You can join the waitlist. If someone cancels, you'll be notified and may be automatically enrolled up to thirty minutes before the ceremony begins.

You can book one spot and join the waitlist for the second. Cancellations within twenty-four hours are rare, and cancellations within twelve hours are very rare. If you need two guaranteed spots, it's worth looking at another ceremony time.

You will be charged the $35 drop-in rate, even if you're a member.

We can't offer refunds for missed ceremonies, including for illness. The cancellation windows above apply regardless of reason.

We don't offer credits for missed ceremonies outside the policy windows.

That email goes to anyone who cancels within twenty-four hours. If you cancelled more than twelve hours before the ceremony, you forfeit the credit but no fee is charged. The $10 fee only applies inside the twelve-hour window.

Forest and Wilderness members also receive 10% off all training programs.

Memberships are billed weekly. Your payment method is charged automatically every seven days.

Your weekly allowance resets when your payment renews, not on a fixed day like Monday.

No. Unused sits don't roll over to the following week.

Two months (eight weeks).

After your minimum commitment, you can cancel with one month's written notice. Email space@cloudhidden.com.au. The minimum total duration of a membership is therefore three months: two of commitment plus one of notice.

You can pause for up to four weeks per twelve-month period. Pauses must be requested in writing with a start and end date, and cannot be backdated. Pauses aren't available during the first eight weeks.

No. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Only the named member may attend on the membership.

The system will automatically retry after 1, 3, and 5 days. During this time you can't make new bookings, and existing bookings may be paused or cancelled. Once your payment succeeds, access is restored.

Yes. Additional ceremonies beyond your weekly allowance are charged at the $35 drop-in rate.

Forest and Wilderness include one guest pass per week. Grove does not.

Guest passes are for people who haven't previously attended Cloud Hidden, as a way of introducing new people to the space.

No. Packs are for individual use.

Yes. Five-packs expire after six months, ten-packs after nine months.

Yes. Off-site ceremonies are priced the same, plus a $300 call-out fee. Availability depends on server schedules. Most groups find that visiting our space is a better experience and often cheaper overall.

A ninety-minute introduction to tea ceremony for newcomers. $85, up to 15 people.

A two-day weekend introduction to the practice of tea. The first level on the Cloud Hidden training path (Cloud Hidden Foundation). $425. Forest and Wilderness members receive 10% off. Held on weekends with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 participants. The final 1-day Immersion on Saturday 6 June is $345.

Yes, via Australia Post. Shipping costs vary by destination. Customs and import taxes are the responsibility of the receiver and are handled by your country's customs authority.

Please check teaware thoroughly when it arrives. We can replace items that arrive damaged, but cannot offer returns or replacements once a piece has been in use. Handmade ceramics can develop small cracks over time. This is a natural quality of the material, not a defect.

Email us with photos as soon as possible after delivery and we'll arrange a replacement.
